dog house ministries

Hey… Welcome to Dog House Ministries. Glad you came to visit, chat or to just hang out!

Why is this called Dog House Ministries? It is really quite simple. It is about reaching and encouraging students, and others that are residing in the Dog House, due to choices or circumstances of life.

I myself have been in the Dog House many times in my life… more often than not.  But like the blog line says… The dog house resides at the corner of grace & mercy.  I am a Christian, not a perfect one, hence the dog house reference, but one who has given Jesus her life and in return has received grace and mercy.

The Methodology: Being in the Dog House is this… if you belong to the Master (Jesus) you are still His, but your choices are putting you in the Dog House and out of close relationship with Him.  Instead of being inside in safety on the couch, you are outside in the dirt and exposed to greater danger.   Here is an example:… A storm comes to the neighborhood, but when you are in the Dog House you are less protected and exposed to more danger and the fierce elements – and it is scary.   But when you are not in the Dog House but on the Master’s lap or couch, the same storm comes but you are more protected and shielded from the same fierce elements-and it isn’t as scary.

Dog House Ministries wants to encourage you to get out of the Dog House and get with the Master.

I am a dog!  But oh, to be a dog in the Master’s house!  Hey I still make messes and my Master still has to clean them up…. But He loves me anyway… 

Hey… let’s work together to get out of the Dog House and onto His lap…. there is room for us all.
