Lost to Found

Lost to Found… That is what this page is about.   It is about making a decision to give your life to Jesus, and to move off the dark streets of life and into the home where you belong from being lost to found.

One of my favorite bible passages is found in Luke 15:1-7.   It is the parable of the Lost Sheep.  It is where Jesus tells the religous leaders about going after the one sheep of the flock that has become lost.  It is where the shepherd leaves the other sheep and seeks out the lost ONE. He searched for the one until He finds it – wherever it is.  He joyfully puts it on his shoulders and carries it home.  It is so awesome!

You see you don’t have to try to get your act together and “clean” up before you come to Jesus.  He meets you where you are and welcomes you as you are right now.  He has been looking for you.  He is willing work out the knots of your life and make things right.

Here’s how to move from LOST to FOUND:

You must understand – You are a sinner.  You are not holy, righteous, generally good or perfect.  You fall short of that. We ALL do and we ALL are sinners – EVERYONE!

You MUST Believe- 1. There is Only One God in Heaven. 2. Jesus is the perfect Son of God, who took upon himself, punishment for our sin and was crucified on the cross.  Believe that He died and three days later came to life again. – Resurrected and paid in FULL our ransom with his innocent blood.  We are held prisoner by SIN – we are captives to it.  But Jesus paid the price to ransom us free.  The innocent for the quilty.  3. Jesus is alive today and working through His Holy Spirit in the lives that have chosen Him to be the Master of their life.  4. That He is waiting for the day when he will move us from the Dog House into HIS House in heaven and to be with him forever. 5. You must believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God.  It is true and perfect.

If You Believe these things – You may not understand it all, but you believe it to be true.  Then Confess to Jesus.  Tell him I believe you are the Christ and Savior of the world.  Tell Him I am a Sinner! I need you to be Lord of my life and heart. I believe you will forgive me for my sins. I believe you paid for my sins by dying on that cross.  I believe that you are working things out for my good. I believe you have a purpose for my life. I believe that you will one day return and call your people home and I will be one of them.

If you believe this and accept it as truth.  Know that you have gone from being lost to being found.  Jesus is your Lord and Savior.  He has forgiven you and have made you clean. Rejoice – just like my dogs after a bath. They jump and run all over, showing each person that they are clean. I know I felt that way. CLEAN! So run & jump and REJOICE you are clean and you have been found!

We encourage you to ask Jesus (pray) to help you find a good bible believing and teaching church in your area. We also encourage you to tell someone that you have accepted Jesus and that you are not lost anymore. We also encourage you find a Christian mentor to help you start walking with the Master.

We also want to say….Welcome to the family!  We are happy you are here!   We are not a perfect family but we have a perfect Master of the House.
